Reference Number : AB-2022-01537 The City of Edmonton (the "City") invites bidders to submit bids for this Sourcing Event for the the provision of all labour, materials and equipment required for the supply and delivery of wood in two categories; Category A - specialized wood species of varying widths and lengths for exterior applications, and Category B glued-laminated (glulam) straight wood beams of varying depths for exterior applications for the City of Edmonton on an if, as and when required basis. The Work to be performed by the successful bidder is outlined in the Requirements document attached to the Form of Agreement Section in the SAP Ariba platform The initial term of the Contract will be Two (2) years, in its sole discretion, the City may extend the Contract on the same terms and conditions for multiple terms and lengths up to a maximum Contract length not to exceed Five (5) years The City is not responsible for any failure of the Ariba or Alberta Purchasing Connection websites, though bidders are encouraged to notify the City of any website issues. The bidder recognizes and accepts and assumes all risks, responsibility, and liability associated with communicating by electronic communications and submitting bids electronically, including, without limitation: a) the lack of security; b) the unreliability of delivery; c) the possible loss of confidentiality; d) receipt of garbled, corrupted or incomplete bid; e) unavailability of Ariba or Alberta Purchasing Connection websites or inability of the bidder to access the Ariba or Alberta Purchasing Connection websites; f) incompatibility between the sending and receiving equipment; g) delay in transmission or receipt of the bid; or h) illegibility of the bid.
