As a condition of bidding for any projects during the 2022 calendar year, and in accordance with the California Public Contract Code Section 20111.5, all prospective bidders are required to submit to the Victor Elementary School District a completed set of prequalification documents by completing all of the documents of the Pre-Qualification Packet. These documents will be the basis for determining which bidders are qualified to bid projects. Bids will not be accepted if a contractor has not been prequalified. Ratings of individual firms will only be disclosed upon written request by that firm. The District reserves the right to check other available sources to establish pre-qualification. All portions of packet must be filled out in its entirety. All information contained in the prequalification packets is not public record and are not open to public inspection. Bidders are advised that this process applies to public works for purpose of the California Labor Code, which requires payment of prevailing wages. As of March 1, 2015, all contractors and subcontractors bidding on a public works project over $25,000 for construction, alteration, demolition, installation, or repair work or to work performed on a public works project of $15,000 or more when the project is for maintenance work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
