For Cuttyhunk Island Asbestos Cement Pipe Replacement and Rehabilitation In general and without limitation The Work under this contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the replacement of approximately 6,875 linear feet of 6" existing asbestos cement (AC) water main with new 6" polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe within Bayberry Hill Road, Bayview Drive, Tower Road, Gosnold County Road, Broadway, and Cemetery Road and the rehabilitation of approximately 1,650 linear feet of existing 6" asbestos cement water main with structural liner within the utility easement from Bayberry Hill Road to Tower Road and within the Coast Guard Property Path from Gosnold County Road to Cemetery Road. The project includes installing new fire hydrants, valves, replacing service connections from the new water main to the curb stop, and final full width pavement overlay in areas of roadway disturbance. The project also includes reinstating services in areas where structural liner is applied. The project also includes the installation of approximately 2,090 linear feet of a pair of 2-1/2" PVC underground electrical conduits and associated handholes within Bayberry Hill Road and Bayview Drive.
