The Southbridge Public Schools is seeking bids for roofing repairs at the Southbridge Middle / High School at 132 Torrey Road, pursuant to MGL Chapter 30B Section 39M. The Southbridge Public Schools is seeking bids for roofing replacements at 156 West Street, 120 Eastford Road, and 220 Charlton Street pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30 Section 39M There are six roof sections that need to be replaced at three locations: 156 West Street o 400 square feet with roof hatch. The existing materials need to be removed down to the steel decking. A new roof needs to be installed, including new aluminum roof hatch. o 1655 square feet around the elevator shaft, but not the elevator shaft. The existing EPDM membrane metal edging and wood blocking needs to be removed, and a new section needs to be installed with the required materials. o The elevator shaft roof needs to be repaired. The existing EPDM membrane needs to be removed. New PT blocking, half cover board needs to be installed, including a new EPDM membrane 120 Eastford Road o 800 square feet south hallway. This includes removing existing EPDM membrane metal edging and wood blocking, and install new required materials. o 900 square feet over the school's main office. Remove existing materials down to steel decking, and install new required materials. 220 Charlton Street o 1500 square feet over the school's main office. Remove existing materials down to the steel decking and install a new section. In addition, walk pads should be installed where required. All debris must be removed and disposed of following the work.
