Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Working plans call for the construction of a 132,000-square-foot, six-story above grade, 154-unit multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; and retail development.
New affordable multi-unit rental housing project to be located at Lot 1- Transcona Boulevard, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Construction of a 6-storey building with 154 housing units (approx. 132,000 sq ft total building) on 2.4 acres zoned RMU, with approximately 43% of units planned to be designated affordable. In addition to dwelling units, the main floor shall include common area amenities and commercial space of approximately 3,200 sq ft with private entrance. The commercial space shall include flex office space that will be rented by multiple tenants. 160 parking stalls, inclusive of seven accessible stalls and two van accessible stalls. The project scope is subject to change based on financial viability and further design progress with the project team. A high level of energy efficiency and minimum accessibility requirements will be part of the project requirements. TIMELINE: Plan approval is in place. Timelines for construction are currently unknown & dependent on securing of funds. Updates may be available spring, 2026.
