The Kilgore Independent School District will receive qualifications statements in response to a Request for Qualifications from Design-Build Firms for the Renovation of Existing and New Construction of Athletic Fields and Facilities.This is the first step in a two-step process pursuant to Texas Government Code Chapter 2269.307. Responses must be submitted in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements set forth in the Request for Statements of Qualifications. The Qualifications Statements will be opened at the District's administrative offices immediately after expiration of the deadline and the names of the Design-Build firms submitting responses will be read aloud. The District's anticipated budget is $7,500,000.00. Construction of new athletic facilities to include: tennis, track, soccer, bleachers, parking, landscaping, and exterior fencing. Location of this project is the Kilgore ISD's High School campus. Renovation of existing athletic facility and field to include: tennis/soccer locker room, football bleachers, locker rooms, security fencing, concessions, and restrooms. Location of this project is Kilgore ISD's RE St. John Stadium. Replacement of existing athletic fields. Location of this project is Kilgore ISD's RE St. John Stadium and Kilgore High School. The project must be designed and built in strict compliance with: Design/Build firm shall be responsible for designing and constructing the project to meet all applicable codes and regulations including life safety codes, building codes, Texas Disabled Accessibility Standards, fire marshal requirements, city and county regulations, etc.
