Renovation of a water / sewer project in Burlington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The installation of the Pumps and VFDs supplied will be included in a separate publicly bid package entitled "Mill Pond Water Treatment Plant - PFAS Treatment Upgrades - Contract 2" (Contract 2) that will include the construction of a PFAS treatment building and ancillary equipment. Pump and VFD Manufacturer(s) shall be bound to provide the equipment and services specified within to the General Contractor selected under Contract 2. The work included under this Pumps and VFDs procurement project consists of furnishing three vertical turbine pumps including pumps, motors, shafts, column assemblies, bowl assemblies, discharge heads, strainers, and variable frequency drives. Work also includes preparation of shop drawings submittals for review, furnishing and delivering equipment to the project site, coordination with OTHERS who will install the equipment under a separate contract with the Town, and factory assistance to OTHERS for Contract 2 for installation and testing of the supplied equipment. Fifty percent (50%) payment bond is required under M.G.L. Chapter 30B. Performance Bond , Bid security is not required. Anticipated Notice to Proceed December2021 Completion - December2022
