All questions regarding this RFQ package shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via purchasing@apgov.us by 5:00 PM on November 10, 2021. The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid/proposal due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to Request for Qualifications or Request for Proposals, if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Must comply with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners standards. For each contract in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars per project, the public entity shall require of the contractor a bond with good, solvent, and sufficient surety in a sum of not less than fifty percent of the contract price for the payment by the contractor or subcontractor to claimants as defined in R.S. 38:2241. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, response to Request for Qualifications or Request for Proposals for just cause. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
