As of March 8, 2022, this project was over budget therefore it was not awarded to anyone. Board of contract and supply meeting, for the following work. Youth and community center-9 Columbus park e. Contract GC-1 - general construction work contract MC-2 - mechanical construction work contract PC-3 - plumbing construction work contract EC-4 - electrical construction work This project will include: all labor and material for the construction of a 1 story, 17,000+ square foot youth and community center at Columbus park, 9 Columbus park e, including sitework upgrades to the majority of the park, contracts as noted above, in accordance with the contract documents for the project. Note: in order to submit a bid, contractors are required to register and purchase a set of documents from dataflow. Contractors that have not registered with dataflow as documented plan holders for this project cannot be considered as acceptable bidders. At the option of the bidder, the guaranty may be a certified check, bank draft, negotiable us government bonds (at par value), or a bid bond approved by the corporation counsel. Certified check or bank draft must be payable to the order of the city of Binghamton. Cash deposits will not be accepted. The bid guaranty shall insure the execution of the agreement and the furnishing of the surety bond or bonds by the successful bidder, all as required by the contract documents. The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract in the best interests of the city of Binghamton, New York.
