Renovation of a water / sewer project in Masset, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work involves electrical upgrades to the existing Masset Water Treatment Plant (WTP), including replacement of the control panel and related hardware; installation of a new uninterruptible power supply (UPS); replacement of an existing 480 VAC motor control centre (MCC) and associated transformer with a new 600 VAC MCC; replacement of existing 480 VAC rated motors/heaters with new 600 VAC rated motors/heaters; installation of new 120/240V and 600V equipment cabling; installation of a new standby generation system; replacement and installation of new instruments. The work includes coordination of controls work with the Owner's control system integrator. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
