Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
TransLink has retained Bird Construction Group LP ("Bird Construction") to act as General Contractor for the construction of new SkyTrain Operation Control Centre (OCC 2) building (the "Project"). Bird Construction is responsible for administering a trade prequalification process/tendering process, entering into contracts with trades directly, and providing construction services for OCC 2. Bird Construction is therefore requesting qualified trades submit a proposal for the Request for Prequalification and Tender process ("RFPQ & TP #1") for structural steel, decking and miscellaneous metals work for the Project. The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
