Site work for a road / highway in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work to be done generally consists of replacing existing Metal Beam Guardrail (MBGR) system including posts, railing, and end treatments with Midwest Guardrail System (MGS). Guardrail will have both wood and steel posts. Work is to occur in the Crockett Area, along the following roadways; San Pablo Avenue, Cummings Skyway, Pomona Street, Carquinez Scenic Drive, and Crockett Boulevard. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $1,295,000 Number of Working Days: 40 This is a federal aid contract. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contract goal is 11%. You must meet this DBE goal and/or provide adequate Good Faith Effort documentation as outlined in these special provisions. To comply with the County DBE Program's Good Faith Effort, the bidder must take certain actions a minimum of fifteen (15) days prior to bid opening. The Contractor must possess a valid Class A or Class C-13 License at the time the Contract is awarded.
