Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) are Administrative actions implemented in hospital and ambulatory clinic environments when construction or renovation activities may compromise Life Safety Code requirements. This Section applies to situations in which the Contractor or his representative including, but not necessarily limited to, suppliers, subcontractors, employees and field engineers, enter upon the Owner's property. Documents affecting work of the Section include, but are not necessarily limited to the Agreement and Sections in Division 0 and 1 of these Specifications. Comply with procedures described in the Agreement between Owner and Contractor and in this Section when applying for progress payment and final payment under the Contract. Documents affecting work of the Section include, but are not limited to, the Agreement, and Sections in Division 0 through 1 of these Specifications. The Contract Sum and the schedule for payments are described in the Agreement between Owner and Contractor. Payments upon Substantial Completion and Final Completion are described in the Agreement between Owner and Contractor and in Section 01700 of these Specifications. The Architect/Engineer's approval of applications for progress payment and final payment may be contingent upon the Owner's approval of status of Project Record Documents as described in Section 01720 of these Specifications.
