** As of December 3, 2021 project has been awarded to JTL Group Inc. amount of $799,779.50. ** For Overlay US-2 Happy's Inn Kalispell Area The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Overlay US-2 Happy's Inn Kalispell Area WORK IS REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED ON OR BEFORE: NOVEMBER 15, 2022 Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, incidentals and traffic control necessary to produce, haul, place, tack and compact approximately 7,240 tons of 1/2 " Commercial Plant Mix Grade S PG 64-28 asphalt mix material. The overlay shall be paved .15 feet thick and approximately 40 feet wide. A leveling quantity of 900 tons will be placed at the MDT Project Managers direction between MP 73 and 76.3. Milling work will include a full width 100' taper mill at the beginning and end of the project. Seven County Road approaches will have a full apron paved 7' wide. Include approach paving costs in mainline paving costs. Install CLRS for the full length of the project. Contractor is responsible for test trailer, transport, and setup. If the Department decides to perform testing at an area lab, this bid item will be deleted from the contract.
