The City of Kalispell looks forward to receiving your bid. The project primarily consists of furnishing materials, labor, and equipment required to install four 12-inch diameter, 1,000 gpm wells at the Noffsinger Well Site, drilled to a depth of approximately 435 feet, and two 12-inch diameter, 1,000 gpm wells at the Dry Bridge Well Site, drilled to a depth of approximately 420 feet. Work includes installation of well conductor and casing pipe, well screen with K-packer, grout seal and vented well cap, as well as all well development, flow testing, and disinfection for all six wells. Restoration and traffic control are also included as required for each site. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry at the time of bid submission. All bidders must accompany their bid with bid security in an amount of ten percent of the amount bid, as detailed in the bid instructions. Compliance with equal employment laws, Build America, Buy America requirements, and wage rate requirements is mandatory. Bids are submitted electronically, and all unit costs for identified bid items must be provided in the base bid. Progress payments are made based on completed and accepted quantities of work measured in place, with certified payroll records required for all workers on the project. The City reserves the right to accept or reject deduct options and will award each schedule individually to the lowest responsible bidder for each schedule. Additional instructions address contractor responsibilities for site visits, examination of documents, and understanding of site and technical conditions, as well as prohibitions on corrupt, fraudulent, collusive, or coercive bidding practices. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
