Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kalispell, Montana. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 18,500-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility; for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility; and water / sewer project.
The City of Kalispell is planning to site, design, and build two new buildings. The project includes site improvements for utility support, drainage, and final surfacing. The New Central Garage Shop is to facilitate maintenance, services, and repairs of City fleet and equipment, consisting of a 150' x 90' (13,500 sf) facility with a welding bay, light duty bay (PM services), cold storage for tires, 2-3 working shop bays, two lifts (repurposed from existing central garage), parts tool room, oil room, one office, break room, and equipment storage. Ceiling and door heights must allow staff to work on all city fleet inside. The New Solid Waste Equipment Storage Building is 5,000 sf (100' x 50') and provides heated storage for four solid waste trucks, with 14' x 14' garage doors, and does not require utilities or an office. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
