Renovation of an educational facility in West Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of interior and exterior door removal, installation of new interior and exterior doors and hardware, and painting of existing door frames. The School Board will review bids, recommendations and award contract at the Regular Board meeting at 7:00 PM on the 13 th day of December Submittals may start as soon as the contract is awarded. The onsite work is anticipated to commence upon award of contract or Notice to Proceed, on or about June 1, 2022 and be substantially complete by August 10 th , 2022. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond written on an original AIA Document A310, Bid Bond is required for this project, and must be submitted at the time of bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Last date for questions to be submitted to be answered by addenda is Wednesday, December 1st.
