Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clinton, Iowa. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway, sidewalk / parking lot and water / sewer project.
The project involves construction of 4108 square yards of 7" PCC pavement with 12" aggregate base, 229 tons of asphalt paving; 1903 square yards of 2" milling, 698 linear foot of 30" curb and gutter; 3186 square foot of 5" PCC sidewalk, 23 storm sewer inlets, 5 storm sewer manholes, 2075 linear foot of various size storm sewer, 20 linear foot of sanitary sewer, 6172 square yards of full depth pavement removal, 2024 cubic yards of earthwork, seeding, sidewalk removals, driveway work, erosion control items, and other associated construction items as described and shown on the project plans. The above work shall be commenced as soon as possible after the contract and bond have been approved by the City Attorney and have been signed by the Mayor and City Clerk. The Notice to Proceed for this project shall be issued on or before April 11, 2022. The late start date is May 2, 2022. There are 75 working days form the late start date to substantial completion of the project. All seeding and punch-list items shall be completed within 30 days of the substantial completion date. Liquidated damages shall be per Special Conditions.
