The Town of Halton Hills, Recreation & Parks Department, is seeking to pre-qualify General Contractors for the purposes of creating a Pre-qualified Contractors' roster for the bidding of trail, boardwalk and bridge construction in environmentally sensitive areas (ravines, river valleys, floodplain) in the Town of Halton Hills over the next two (2) years. In order to comply with changes in the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, a trail construction pre-qualification bid is being re-issued. The Contractors listed below are pre-qualified to bid on Halton Hills 2022 Trail Construction Projects. These Contractors were approved through Request for Prequalification PQ-007-20 & PQ-007-20-1, Contractor Pre-Qualification for Trail Construction, for the period 2020 through to the end of 2024. The following Contractors do not have to resubmit a prequalification document. - 560789 Ontario Limited o/a R & M Construction - Bomar Landscaping Inc. - Cambridge Landscaping & Construction Ltd. - CSL Group Ltd. - Dynex Construction Inc. - Grade Control Ltd. - Hawkins Contracting Services Ltd. - Melfer Construction Inc. - Terrain Landscape Group As per Article 508.2 of the CFTA Agreement: - Those companies not listed above wishing to prequalify for trail construction projects with the Town of Halton Hills for the years 2021 to 2024 are asked to submit a pre-qualification document for review. - Those companies that did submit to be prequalified under PQ-007-20 and PQ-007-20-1 and were not successful, if submitting this year, please ensure you have updated your previous submission. - The criteria that will be used to prequalify contractors is identified in the prequalification request #PQ-007-20-2. - Only those prequalified contractors named on the prequalified list will receive further notifications of Trail Construction Projects. Only those prequalified contractors will be invited to bid on trail construction projects from 2022 through to the end of 2024. The scope of work is supply and installation of all materials relating to trail construction through environmentally sensitive areas. These include but are not limited to the construction of limestone screenings trails, wooden boardwalk using various footings (helical piers, cedar posts or concrete), and steel bridge with abutment construction and installation. Projects will vary in scale and dollar value and be bid through a competitive process to the pre-qualified roster of contractors. Timing of these projects will be sporadic throughout 2022 and the following 2 years. The location of the projects will be mainly within environmentally sensitive areas within Halton Hills (ie.
