Description and location of Project: The principal features of the Work to be performed under this Contract include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Furnish and install new 480/277V, 1000A circuit breaker in new switchboard section, and extend existing 2000A switchboard bus. 2. Furnish and install new 480/277V enclosed power factor correction equipment with detuned reactors and automatic controls. 3. Furnish and install current transformer in existing automatic transfer switch. 4. Furnish and install new power and control wiring for new power factor correction equipment, including control wiring for monitoring from existing plant SCADA system. 5. Extend existing concrete housekeeping pads as required to accommodate new power factor correction equipment. All work shall be done in accordance to MSD's Standard Specifications. The Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate for this project is between $166,302.00 and $203,258.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Project Manager for this Invitation to Bid is Darryl Evans.
