Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bell Gardens, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and pre-engineered storage facility.
**As of 2/14/2022 Project was awarded to Zusser Company Inc. award amount $205,292.10 As described in the bidding documents, this improvement project will construct the necessary electrical, water, and sewer connections to allow the Citys purchased prefabricated restroom to function upon its installation. The project will also prepare the area for the pre-fabricated foundation, and construct the sidewalk, curb/gutter and ADA access ramp to ensure the building is in compliance with the ADA and building codes. Bid shall be for furnishing all labor, equipment and materials in accordance with the specifications. Award of Contract February 14 2022 - City Council meeting Pre-Construction Meeting - February 23, 2022 The total contract period for this project is thirty (30) working days from the effective date of the Notice-to-Proceed to be issued by the City. This includes five (5) working days as move-in period and twenty-five (25) working days for construction work. The liquidated damages for this project is one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per calendar day the project is not completed within the contract time. The AGENCY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity and to take all bids under advertisement for a period of sixty (60) days.
