This project involves the restoration and stabilization of approximately 320 feet of the eastern Conesus Lake shoreline and consists of clearing/excavation/relocation of existing materials, and the installation of living shoreline and natural buffer strategies, and all related work. If delivering the Sealed Bid in person you can either leave in the drop-box, leave with someone in the office (if there), or schedule a time to drop them off in person. Bidders planning on mailing Sealed Bids should be aware that delivery may not be guaranteed. Due to Covid-19 we will limit the number of people attending the bid opening. Requests for mailing of Bidding Documents will not be accommodated at this time. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Only Bidders receiving bid documents from the Issuing Office (electronic or printed) will be allowed to submit a bid to be considered for award. A pre-bid conference will Not be held. Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFI's will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on December 3, 2021, at the office of the Engineer to the attention of Zach Anderson via email: ZAnderson@CPLteam.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 12:00 p.m. (Local Time) on December 6, 2021, from the office of the Engineer. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Executive Orders 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. The successful bidder must be an equal opportunity employer, must meet all appropriate State and Federal standards, and comply with all relevant governmental regulations. New York State certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) firms are encouraged to respond. This project is funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). Prospective bidders should review the requirements included in the contract documents. For purposes of this procurement, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) has established an overall goal of up to 20% for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises ("MWBE") participation. Bidders will be required to make pre-bid Good Faith Efforts to comply. Bidders shall provide pre-bid MWBE solicitation documentation at the Owner/ Engineer's request. All bids shall be binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The Town of Livonia reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
