Renovation of a municipal facility in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Eastern Oklahoma County (EOC) Technology Center will receive sealed bids on the EOC MAIN BUILDING ROOF UPDATE. Bid security of unsuccessful bidders will be returned on award of contract or rejection of their bids. Bid security of successful Bidder will be returned when contract has been approved by the Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center Board of Education. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in Conference Room A102, EOC Technology Center, immediately following the previously stated closing time. Bidders should give particular attention to the requirements of nonsegregated facilities and nondiscrimination employment practices to be observed, anitcollusion provisions, and business relationships affidavit as required by statutes. The Board of Education or its representative will evaluate all bids and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any of the listed specifications. All documents will be handed out during a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, November 29th @ 8:30 am CST. It will be held in Conference room A102 in the Main Campus building located at 4601 North Choctaw Rd., Choctaw, OK 73020. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all bidders. Your firm is invited to submit an offer under seal to Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center for the Main Building Roof Update, located at 4601 N. Choctaw Rd., Choctaw, OK 73020. 1) Demolition/Excavation of site a) In proposed sectors, all existing gravel on roof, which can be remove due to tar adhesion, shall be removed in preparation to install ISO board. b) ISO board should lay as flat as possible, any bulges or high spots shall be addressed before ISO board is installed. c) All excavated gravel shall be disposed of off-site. 2) Installation of ISO board & TPO a) Install .5" ISO board directly over existing material and fully adhere by mechanical fasteners. b) Install 60 Mil TPO mechanically attached. c) Flashing/Curbs/Penetrations: Fully adhere TPO to the sides of all curbs. d) Walk pads installed in locations per map. e) Parapet wall caps: leave existing; terminate TPO under backside or by manufacture detail. 3) General Requirements a) Will have to coordinate with owner with removal of old HVAC units b) Contractor shall clean up at the end of each day. At the end of the workweek, Contractor shall provide a more thorough cleanup. All waste will be removed from site by contractor c) Furnish material and labor d) 20 year NDL product warranty, 2 year workmanship 4) Demolition/Excavation of site a) In proposed sectors, all existing gravel on roof, which can be remove due to tar adhesion, shall be removed in preparation to install ISO board. b) ISO board should lay as flat as possible, any bulges or high spots shall be addressed before ISO board is installed. c) All excavated gravel shall be disposed of off-site. 5) Installation of ISO board & TPO a) Install .5" ISO board directly over existing material and fully adhere by mechanical fasteners. b) Install 115 Mil TPO fleece back and fully adhere. c) Flashing/Curbs/Penetrations: Fully adhere TPO to the sides of all curbs. d) Walk pads installed in locations per map. e) Parapet wall caps: leave existing; terminate TPO under backside or by manufacture detail.
