Renovation of a multi-residential development in Toronto, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
This RFP is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the "City") on behalf of The Atmospheric Fund ("TAF") and Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) to prospective suppliers to submit Bids for a qualified Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Team to design, construct, and commission a deep energy retrofit of an existing TCHC housing complex for TAF, an agency of The City, as further described in Part 3 (Requirements for Deliverables).The site: The Work outlined in this Request for Proposal involves one Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) Site. The site is located at 1-15 Field Sparroway and 2-10 Tree Sparroway in Toronto, Ontario M2H 3B6. This site is a residential walk-up apartment complex, with 175 living units, 1 two-bedroom, 166 three-bedroom and 8 five-bedroom units. It was built in 1973 with a gross floor area of 17,414 m2 (187,452 ft2). The Sparroway site is split up into four blocks with a total of 13 buildings. TIMELINE: Only two responses were recieved and the project was not awarded. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
