Description

Site work, new construction and renovation of a transportation facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for the renovation of a 66,500-square-foot, two-story above grade transportation facility.

As of February 18, 2026 construction is complete. The NFTA has contracted for exterior renovations to the roof and deck as well as the construction of its new Metro station on the first floor. That has already been reported upon and is underway. The Developer, Savarino DL&W Development LLC, is undertaking the design and construction of further improvements to the 60,000sf of second floor area under roof and 6,500sf of space on the first floor. Also, the developer will constructing its own structures upon the second-floor outdoor deck like stage and such. Scope of work: a. Demolition and removals b. Repair of underside of concrete roof deck c. Structural steel repair and modifications d. Exterior glass windows e. Full HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical/communications f. Interior GWB, Floor finishes, Painting g. Kitchen equipment h. Bleachers i. Millwork
