As of February 04, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded within this month. The work provides for the furnishing of all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, and plant, and the performing of all work in accordance with the specifications and drawings, with the exception of work that is expressly and specifically not included in the project. The project involves the rehabilitation of the cast-in-place concrete tunnel walls for the underground section of the track. Multiple repair types have been identified for various sizes and severities of cracking. Work includes, but is not limited to: crack injection utilizing epoxy for dry cracks; crack injection utilizing polyurethane for cracks with active water leakage; curtain grouting for high-frequency cracks with active water leakage; isolated grouting for isolated cracks with active water leakage; repairs of spalled concrete using Class D repair; and providing weepholes to address water pressure buildup and divert water to the existing drainage system. The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period. Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at online , or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid. The contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the work with its own forces. Bid security must accompany each bid and be not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Requests may be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check or postal money order drawn in favor of the NFTA. The time of completion for the project is 360 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified. Refer to Specification Section 01 11 00 for all milestones and associated liquidated Damages. The MWBE (Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises) and SDVOB (Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business) Goals are as follows: MBE 0%, WBE 7% and SDVOB 3%. The contents of the Contract Documents are intended to be complementary and to describe the performance and completion of the Work. Anything mentioned in the specifications and not shown on the contract drawings or shown on the contract drawings and not mentioned in the specifications shall be of like effect as if shown or mentioned in both.
