Seminole County seeks a qualified aluminum extrusion contractor to provide a turnkey service for the installation of a new carport structure for its emergency response airboat located at 320 SR 46 W, Geneva, FL. This location is Fire Station 42 in Geneva. The carport will be 12' wide, 24' deep and no less than 14' high at its lowest point of the structure to clear the propulsion system cage. The carport will be erected in the rear corner parking lot section on the property, directly in line with the existing vehicle bay. Contractor will be responsible for all drawings, engineering, permits and installation methods associated with completing the project. The carport will be made of white aluminum extrusion materials, 3" non-insulated roof panels on the top and two sides, leaving the front and rear sections open. One gutter and downspout will be installed at the rear lowest point of the structure for drainage.The roof will maintain a one foot overhang on all sides, capped with an aluminum valance. Dimensions of the structure are from outside to outside of structural posts.
