Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Amherst, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, forms, transportation of personnel and equipment necessary to remove and replace sidewalk, curb and gutter. Due to the location, the work will be performed on Monday and Tuesday each week between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm until the work is completed. The start date shall be agreed upon with the contractor prior to award. All work shall be performed following the direction given by the VDOT Contract Administrator or designee. All work performed under this contract shall be performed in accordance with the latest version of the VDOT Road and Bridge Standards, Section 100 and 200; the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual and the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Specifications. Installation of sidewalk, curb and gutter, shall be constructed in accordance with the latest version of the VDOT Road and Bridge Standards. Additionally, the Contractor shall remain in compliance with all OSHA and VOSH personnel, equipment, and safety regulations.
