Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Amherst, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Amherst County has six (6) parking lots that require various levels of restoration and then paving with asphalt or a surface treatment mix. The parking facilities are located at the following locations: Shared parking lot serving Social Services/Health Department -- Sheriff s Department -- an existing parking lot that services the Coolwell Recreation Center -- two (2) employee parking lots at the County landfill -- one (1) parking lot for Seminole Park in Madison Heights. In addition, the project also includes a short egress road at the Coolwell Road Convenience Center that will require construction as well as paving. It is the intent to county to make bid award to lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for a bid within available funds, based upon the bottom line Total Project cost.
