The City of Hot Springs, on behalf of the CDBG Program, is accepting bids to assemble and install a bus shelter at Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness, 125 Wellness Way. The following specifications are intended to describe the minimum requirements for the bus shelter installation. The shelter to be installed is a Duo-Guard Forge Ahead Ready Ship Transit shelter. The crated bus shelter is currently located in the storage facility at Hot Springs Street Department. Contractor must either bring a forklift to raise the entire crate onto a flatbed, or uncrate the bus shelter onsite and transport all pieces and parts to OBHAW Upon unpacking the crate, it will be the Contractor's responsibility to check content for quality and quantity as described in the provided packing slip (Attachment A). Damaged or defective material should not be installed. Necessary Tools (per Attachment B): See Packing List (Attachment A) for exact sizes and descriptions o Two 8' ladders o Hammer Drill with masonry bit for anchor bolts o Drill Motor with #11 and 1/4 " drill bits o Hex Sockets or Open End Wrenches for various diameter bolts o Heavy-Duty Pop Rivet Tool for 3/16" Stainless Steel pop rivets (3/16" aluminum pop rivets also) o Hilti HIT Epoxy dispenser o 10 oz Caulk gun o Rubber mallet/dead blow hammer o Steel hammer o 1/8" Allen wrench o 5/16" hex socket o Tape measure o 24" or 48" bubble level o Air gun (for anchor bolt hole clean out) Shelter Specifications: o Dimensions: Approximately 5' deep x 10' long x 7' clear height (not including top of roof) o Three sides: left, right, and rear o Aluminum frame assembly with tempered float glass walls o Aluminum bench & backrest: Approximately 2' x 5' o Factory Assembled Flat Pan Roof: Approximately 5' x 10' o See attached diagram for detailed specifications
