Renovation of a parking garage in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
This project shall consist of the maintenance repairs of the parking structure in accordance with the drawings and separately bound project specifications. Bid Deposit: 5% Letter of Capability of Acquiring Performance Bond: YES Performance Bond or Letter of Credit: YES Certificate of Insurance: YES Pre-Bid Conference : None The Contractor shall schedule his work such that all improvements shall be complete by Wednesday, November 30, 2022. The completion date will remain binding throughout the duration of the Contract unless revised in writing by the Village. A bid deposit will be required, which shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the estimated cost of the work to be furnished. Such bid deposit shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cash or money order. Checks shall be drawn upon a bank of good standing payable to the order of the Village and said deposit shall be forfeited to the Village in the event the Bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a contract and bond when required, with approved sureties, to execute the Work or furnish the material for the price mentioned in his Bid and according to the plans and specifications in case the contract shall be awarded to him. The Village Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities and to accept or reject any item of any Bid.
