Direct all inquiries concerning this IFB to: Roy Clark Procurement Specialist III Email: rclark1@nc.gov Phone: 919-707-2623 The intent of this solicitation is to obtain pricing for and select a Vendor to provide delivery of Borrow, Aggregate No 57 and Stone Class B to the Department of Transportation, Columbus County Maintenance on an as needed basis. The contract resulting from this IFB may be used without further competition by non-mandatory State Agencies and Other Eligible Entities. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this IFB and any addenda issued hereto. The Contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning on the date of contract award (the Effective Date). At the end of the Contracts current term, the State shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to a total of two (2) additional one (1) year terms. The State will give the Vendor written notice of its intent whether to exercise the option no later than Thirty (30) days before the end of the Contract's then-current term. In addition, the State reserves the right to extend a contract term after the last active term.
