As of January 21, 2022, the project is anticipated to be awarded on January 25, 2022. All work incidental thereto is in accordance with the requirements of the specifications and drawings prepared and supplied by Environmental Control Systems, Inc. Sealed Bids will be received as follows: Contract No. 1 Asbestos Abatement and Related Work at the Sellersville Elementary School. Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry and Have Certifications to Perform Any Type of Asbestos Work in Accordance With the Provisions of the Asbestos Occupations Accreditations and Certification Act. Act 194- 1990. Any bid submitted under the terms of Pennsylvania statues not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualification/classification Certificate will be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. Directions can be found on the internet. Bids must be made on the proposal forms in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon noted on the outside of the envelope. All bids must be accompanied by a Certi-fied Check, Cashier's check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Pennridge School District for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid, and must be delivered to the School Board Secretary, or the Board's designated representative at the above location on or prior to the respective time indicated. The Board of Education and/ or the Engineers assume no responsibility for bids that are mailed or misdirected in the delivery process. All bidding shall be in conformance with applicable requirements of Pennsylvania State Laws, pertaining to Public School Contracts Law. All bidders are hereby placed on notice that they are required to comply with all requirements of Federal, State, Local and current Applicable EPA/DEP regulations. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of at least thir-ty (30) days after the date indicated above, or upon the engineers' request.
