Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Oxford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work shall consist of constructing curb, sidewalk, pavement milling and bituminous overlay, minor storm sewer improvements and street lights along portions of Octoraro Alley, Locust, Coach and South Second Streets; curb, sidewalk, concrete pavers, minor storm sewer improvements and landscape amenities along a portion of Octoraro Alley; major storm sewer improvements and reconstruction of North Second Street; and other related items. Subcontractors for excavation, paving, storm sewer, curb, sidewalk and pavement marking construction are required to be PennDOT pre-qualified for the items of work they will perform and are required to be a PennDOT business partner. The project is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Funding for the project is being provided through County and State grants. Work shall be performed in accordance with all grant guidelines, including nondiscrimination and prevailing wage requirements. Additional compliance requirements may apply; the OWNER retains the right to enforce said additional requirements. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. ach Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Proposals shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening. The successful bidder shall be substantially complete the Octoraro Alley Pedestrian Area portion of the WORK by May 12, 2022, the Coach Street portion of the WORK by June 2, 2022 and shall substantially complete the entire project by July 27, 2022. The successful bidder will be required to pay a fee to PennBID a fee. The Borough of Oxford reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof.
