Renovation of a water / sewer project in Stratton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of January 26, 2022, the project was awarded to Fort Steuben maintenance, OH for $212,000. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and form as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and be accompanied by a 100% Bid Guaranty Bond or certified check drawn upon a solvent bank, payable to the Order of the Village of Stratton, Ohio, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Should any bid be rejected such check will be forthwith returned upon the proper execution and securing of the contract. Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period of not longer than 60 days after date of opening and/or to award at any time during that 60-day period. State if Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates for Jefferson County will be applicable to this project. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, to decrease or omit any item or items and/or to award to the lowest and responsible, responsive bidder. The Village also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received.
