The single point of contact for all inquiries, written or verbal requests, shall be directed to: Shawnee County Facilities Maintenance ATTN: Nelda Henning 200 SE 7th Street, Room B30 Topeka, KS 66603 Phone 785.251-4490 Email Nelda.henning@snco.us Bid bond, Certified Check or a Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the base bid shall accompany this bid. Bid bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check shall be made payable without condition to Shawnee County Kansas, which it is agreed shall be retained as liquidated damages for delay and extra expense caused to Shawnee County if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish the bonds required by the specifications The successful bidder shall furnish the County a performance bond in the amount equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the faithful performance of the contract. The bond shall be with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Kansas. Successful bidder further agrees to furnish said performance bond within ten (10) days after award of the contract. The herein stated specification shall become a part of the terms and conditions of the contract.
