See attached for more details West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors (BOG) located in Morgantown, West Virginia (WVU or University) is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors for the demo and replacement of Heat Exchangers at HSC South basement and 9th floor. The Health Sciences Center is located at 64 Medical Center Dr, Morgantown, WV 26506 Cutoff for Questions: Date: December 3, 2021 Time: 12:00 pm EST PHASE 1 Completion Dates: Substantial Completion shall be Twenty-Four (24) weeks from Commencement Final Completion shall be Two (2) weeks from Substantial Completion PHASE 2 Completion Dates (to start after Phase 1 is complete but not before March): Substantial Completion shall be Twenty-Four (24) weeks from start of Phase 2 Final Completion shall be Two (2) weeks from Substantial Completion The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia Universitys Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
