Renovation of a municipal facility in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,924-square-foot municipal facility.

The purpose of this ITB is for Lycoming County to receive bids from qualified Bidder(s) for the construction and build-out of an employee health and wellness center located on the 2 nd Floor of 33 West Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701 Construction and build-out for a 8,924 SF health and wellness center located on the 2 nd Floor of 33 West Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701. The health and wellness center shall be inclusive of a clinical area (6,178 SF),physical therapy area (1,221 SF) and pharmacy area (1,142 SF) as fully described in the construction documents. Work included under this project consists of construction of renovations to the 2 nd Floor Suite at 33 W. Third Street, Williamsport, Pa. as depicted in the construction documents. Project includes demolition, interior renovations, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection modifications. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, and performing all work necessary to complete all Construction at the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the County of Lycoming. All construction work shown on the contract drawings and not expressly mentioned in the specifications and all work specified and not shown on the drawing but obviously necessary to the proper execution of same shall be performed by the Contractor, as it is not the intent to delineate or describe every detail and feature of work. No additions to the Contract Sum will be approved for any materials, equipment and/or labor to perform work hereunder unless it can be clearly shown to be beyond the scope and intent of the drawings and specifications and absolutely essential to the proper execution of the work. completion on or before July 31, 2022 Prevailing Wage Act Certifications: For each project in which prevailing wages are required, the contractor shall comply with all the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Act, including the submission of weekly wage reports to the System. No application for payment will be considered complete without the attachment of the certification of the wages paid by the contractor, for the time period of the application for payment. Current weekly Payroll Certifications are also required for all applicable subcontractors. The first and last Payroll Cert for each contractor or subcontractor shall be notarized. The County of Lycoming is requesting sealed bids for separate prime contracts for the Construction of a suite build-out for an employee health & wellness center. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security shall be released to unsuccessful Bidders within 120 days after the date of bid opening. Questions regarding this Invitation to Bid shall be submitted via the "Clarifications" Complete bidding documents are available at no cost The Lycoming County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or to accept any part of a bid without accepting the whole thereof, or to accept such bid as they deem to be in the best interest of the County. All questions and clarifications must be received by PennBid no later than Monday, December 27, 2021, 5:00 P.M. EST.
