Renovation of an educational facility in Denton, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 33,500-square-foot educational facility.

Project Description: Renovation of 33,500 sf of dormitory space into dental hygiene clinic and counseling clinic, including exterior renovation, and public plaza work. The New Dental Hygiene Clinic & Counseling Center Project will consist of relocating the existing third-floor counseling department to the second floor of Mary Gibbs Jones Hall and relocating the dental clinic from MCL building to Mary Gibbs Jones Hall. Texas Woman's University (TWU) is seeking construction services for a New Dental Hygiene Clinic & Counseling Center at Jones Hall. The New Dental Hygiene Clinic & Counseling Centerwill be located in a portion of Mary Gibbs Jones Hall. Mary Gibbs Jones Hall was constructed in 1961; it is a 3-story building with approximately 55,000 gross square feet. The first floor of Mary Gibbs Jones Hall was renovated in 2018 to include the student health center, which was relocated from the recently remodeled Hubbard Hall building/new student union. The primary project objective is to renovate a portion of Mary Gibbs Jones Hall to house the relocated dental hygiene clinic and counseling center to provide top of the line medical training and services to students, facility, staff, and the community. Please review all Alternates before submitting proposals, there are a number of Alternates on the project that will effect multiple scopes of work, so please submit proposals accordingly. Written Inquiries must be received by December 17, 2021 Responses to Inquiries Due January 7, 2022 Contract Award February 22, 2022 (Estimate) Addendum #1 has been issued, as of January 7, 2022. Note from Sedalco Construction: **IMPORTANT - PLEASE BE AWARE** - This bid turns in at 1:30 pm on 1-21, instead of the standard 2:00 pm turn in. Due to the compicated nature of the turn in, SEDALCO is asking for all proposals to be turned in by 12:00 noon on 1-21. The Owner designates the following person, as its representative and Point-of-Contact for this RFP. Respondents shall restrict all contact with the Owner and direct all questions regarding this RFP, including questions regarding terms and conditions, to the Point-ofContact person.
