The low bidders for this project have been awarded and are as follows: General Construction: Perry Construction Group Inc. HVAC Construction: Scobell Company, Inc. Electrical Construction: Church & Murdock Electric Inc. Plumbing Construction: Rabe Enviromental Systems, Inc. The Girard School District is currently requesting proposals for the renovations to the Girard High School. This project includes the upgrade of ceilings, lighting, HVAC equipment, etc. throughout various areas of the building. Renovation work to the Girard High School, 1135 Lake Street, Girard, PA 16417 Each bid shall include the following 1. Completed Bid Form 2. Certified check, a cashiers check or the bid bond of an approved Surety Company, in an amount of not less than ten percent of the amount of the proposal. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of the Girard School District. 3. Completed Non-Collusion Affidavit 4. Completed Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment Form(s) 5. Completed Public Works Employment Verification Form(s) No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Contractors attention is specifically directed to the fact that the anticipated starting date of work will not be before April 18, 2022 (Boiler Room work only) and June 13, 2022 for the remainder of the work. The Contractor shall state in his Bid Form, the exact number of working days required to fully and finally complete the work. Work shall be started on the project not later than ten (10) days after notification by the Owner or Engineer to start work. The entire work shall be completed, ready for use, on or before August 19, 2022. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids, or to reject any or all bids. Specifications and drawings that are requested by the Contractor to be shipped, will be sent via UPS Ground upon receipt of an additional ten ($10.00) dollar non-refundable shipping fee.
