Notice is hereby given that the SunLine Transit Agency (AGENCY) is soliciting Request for Qualifications seeking firms for the Design and Construction of the Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) Fueling Station (PROJECT) according to the content and format requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Only California licensed and registered design professionals will be allowed to perform the completed design work. The respondent must possess either a Class A or Class B license. This project will be subject to California and Federal prevailing wage requirements. This procurement is structured to comply with the requirements of California Public Contract Code 20209.5 which governs the Design/Build process for Municipal Transportation Operators such as SunLine. The California Public Contract Code requires the Agency to prepare and issue a request for qualifications in order to prequalify or short-list the design/build entities whose proposals shall be evaluated for final selection. Only proposers that have been shortlisted will be allowed to propose on the LH2 Fueling Station as the Design/Build entity. The procurement will also meet the requirements of all other applicable California and Federal Transit Administration laws and regulations. Information required under this RFQ that is not otherwise a public record under the California Public Records Act (Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 6250) of Division 7 of Title 1 of the Government Code) shall not be open to public inspection.
