Renovation of a municipal facility in Thousand Palms, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Project will be rebid but no definite date yet.** The generator will support SunLine's Division 1 current Operations, Maintenance and Liquid Hydrogen Station in the event of a power outage. Written bids must be firm and irrevocable for a minimum of 120 days. The bid of the successful Bidder will be binding upon SunLine's acceptance of that bid. Copies of SunLine's specifications for this work and standard terms & conditions are included with the IFB and will become part of any public works agreement resulting from the solicitation. Bid Valid 120 Days Liquidated Damages Liquidated Damages are calculated at $576.10 per day - see pages 448-449 of IFB Estimated Bid Value See pages 7 & 8 of Item 2 under the Documents Tab Start/Delivery Date SunLine anticipates 590 days to complete SunLine Transit Agency (SunLine or Agency) is receiving bids from qualified firms (Bidders or Contractors) on for services to provide an emergency back-up generator under a public works agreement (Project) as described in the Invitation for Bids (IFB) # 26-002 (previously 25-001). The generator will support SunLine's Division 1 current Operations, Maintenance and Liquid Hydrogen Station in the event of a power outage. This is a public works project subject to prevailing wages. In accordance with section 1720 et seq. of the Labor Code, the general prevailing wage rates as established by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations will apply. The prevailing wage rates established by the State Director of Industrial Relations are available on the State of California's website a No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 at the time of bid. Additionally, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public works unless registered with DIR pursuant to California Labor Code section 1725.5.
