Grand Rapids Public Schools of Grand Rapids, MI will receive proposals from trade contractors for GRPS Innovation Central High School Renovations located at 421 Fountain St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Proposals must be mailed or delivered in person to the GRPS Facilities and Operations Building c/o Steve Orlando - Rockford Construction Senior Project Manager, 900 Union Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The Schedule of Work shall be as follows: Bids due Anticipated award of contract Anticipated start of construction Anticipated substantial completion December 15, 2021 January 11, 2022 May 2022 December 2022. Form of the security may be a bid bond, certified or cashier's check made payable to Grand Rapids Public Schools. Grand Rapids Public Schools will not be responsible for loss of security made by check; checks will not be returned until a contract has been fully executed with the successful bidder. This will be a guarantee that the bidder selected by Grand Rapids Public Schools will furnish the required PLM Bonds; failure to do so could mean forfeiture of the Bid Security. All bidders must indicate, where shown on the Proposal Form, the cost of Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds covering 100% of the value of the Project. Do not include the cost of the Bonds in the Base Bid.
