Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Princeton, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project is located along the West Virginia Turnpike at I-77 Milepost 16.93. It consists of fully replacing the southbound bridge deck over Mercer County Route 3 with precast deck panels and barriers utilizing accelerated bridge construction. Proposals Must Be Made via Bid Express in the Manner Designated in the Specifications, and Must Be Accompanied by a Cashier's Or Certified Check or Bid Bond in Favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, for an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Proposal or $2,000 Whichever Is the Greater, and Must Be Delivered to the Office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or Before The Day and Hour Named. Bid Bonds May Instead Be Submitted Electronically Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest. The Authority strongly encourages Minority Owned and Women Owned businesses to submit proposals for this contract. The WVPA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
