Renovation of a municipal facility in Princeton, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of: CONTRACT NO. 1: Replacement of existing roof on the main section of the Mercer County Courthouse. BIDDERS on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract. Partial funds for this project are through the WV State Historic Preservation Office (WVSHPO) and all work must be approved by the SHPO prior to payment. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. All applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations apply. A five percent (5%) BID BOND must accompany all BIDS. All BIDDERS must hold a current West Virginia Contractor's License on the date of bid opening. BIDDERS must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Copeland AntiKickback Act and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The Mercer County Commission may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids.
