Contractor/consultant to complete Tier 2 testing to determine the landfill gas nonmethane organic compounds (NMOC) for the Mercer County Landfill. The landfill gas will be collected and sampled in accordance with EPA Method 25C. Landfill gas will be collected using geo probe type gas driven probes or from existing passive gas vents. Sampling will consist of 20 samples from the uncapped portion of the landfill and 10 samples from the capped section of the landfill. All samples from the capped section of the landfill will be collected from passive gas vents. Provide references for similar projects completed along with the bid.
