The project generally includes providing materials, supplies, and equipment for water and sewer utility work in the Township of Medford on an as requested basis through December 2022. There is also the potential for a backup contract position. Each bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit, an Ownership Disclosure Form, a Plant, Equipment and Experience Statement and a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price Bid in the proposal; except that when the Total Price Bid is $200,000.00 or more, the amount of the proposal guaranty shall be $20,000.00. The proposal guaranty must be in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, or cashier's check or a combination thereof, and must be drawn to the order of the Township of Medford, New Jersey and must be delivered at the place and by the hour abovenamed. Proposals received after the designated time shall be deemed unresponsive and shall not be opened. All proposals submitted by corporations or partnerships shall list names of stock-holders in accordance with P.L. 1977, C.33. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C.127 which is an act relating to affirmative action in relation to discrimination in connection with certain public contracts; and shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with P.L. 1963, C.150. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27 The Township of Medford reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any insignificant defect or informality in any bid should it be in the interest of the Township to do so.
