Site work and paving for a civil project in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project includes approximately 2850 LF 8" Water Main, 5 Water Valves in vaults, 8 fire hydrants, 133 water services and associated residential internal replumbing, and associated pavement patching, landscaping, and interior residential finish restoration. The contract documents are available on-line at: www.chamlin.com. In addition, the following must be signed and returned with each bid: Equal Employment Opportunity Certificate, Apprenticeship and Training Certificate, Taxpayer Identification Number form, Sexual Harassment Certificate, Contractors Drug Free Workplace Certification, and the Hold Harmless Agreement. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the full amount of the bid or propose No bid shall be withdrawn after opening without the consent of the said Municipality for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The City of Lockport reserves the right to reject an or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it, all in accordance with the standard specifications.
