Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

For 300232 North Campus Student Room Renovations Phase 3 North Campus Student Room Renovations Phase 3 - this is a continuation of student room asbestos abatement and finishes upgrade to student rooms in four residence halls in North Campus. The scope of work includes renovations in all student rooms in Hartford, Hurley, Baldwin and McConaughy Halls all located in North Campus. Renovations include removing all asbestos (which has been identified in floor tiles and concrete ceiling skim coating), installing new floor tiles, new skim coating on the ceilings, cleaning of window and window frame, painting, lighting and new pipe insulation. Also included is cleaning of stairwells, waxing corridor floors and insulation in corridor heating pipes. Project Schedule/Duration: The construction is planned to start: May 11th 2022 Construction duration: 90 Calendar days Financial Ability: The Contractor must demonstrate the financial ability and bonding capacity to complete a construction project with a minimum value of at least $3,500,000.00. contractors are advised that they must award thirty percent (30%) or more of the value of their awarded contract to certified SBEs and, of that amount, one-third (10% of the total award) or more must be awarded to SBEs who are also MBEs Question Submission Close Date February 3rd 2022 2:00PM
