The City of Pomona ("City") is seeking proposals ("Proposals") from qualified firms ("Proposers") for engineering design services for the propose San Jose Creek Multi-Use Bikeway located at the San Jose Creek in the City of Pomona. The limits of the project run along the north side of the San Jose Creek channel adjacent to South Campus Drive, a southerly street entrance into the campus of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly). The project will begin at Temple Avenue, undercrossing State Route 57 and State Route 71, ending south of Interstate 10 at Murchison Avenue. The project d5620439esign is expected to include approximately 3.5 miles off-road bike and pedestrian greenway, 15 access points (9 at grade street crossings), way-finding and safety signage, reduce stormwater runoff and increase runoff capture (for example, nature-based solutions, planted areas with water storage capacity) and storm water collection and drainage system (for trail) The primary objective is to complete a shelf-ready plans, specifications and estimates for the proposed project San Jose Creek Multi-Use Bikeway located at the San Jose Creek in the City of Pomona. The work shall include all tasks associated with development of Construction Drawings, Bid Documents, environmental permits (CEQA/NEPA), and required documents and assistance to the City through the bidding and awarding of the project. Services shall include, but not be limited to project management, public outreach, permitting, property owner coordination (Permissions to Enter), survey boundary control, topographic survey, geotechnical related studies/reports, Conceptual alternatives, 30% preliminary plans, environmental permitting, 60% level PS&E package, design report, 90% detailed PS&E package, and the 100% complete PS&E Bid Documents package. Detailed engineer's estimates will be required at 30, 60, 90, and 100% PS&E intervals. Deliverables, including but not limited to memorandums, reports, NEPA studies, CEQA studies, consultant's project design schedule (MS Project Gantt Chart), 30%, 60%, 90% and 100% PS&E documents, and Design Report.
